Selection guide for CONELOG® Healing caps and impression posts
A stable soft tissue cuff is crucial for the success of implant therapy in several respects. Not only is a healthy gingiva predominantly responsible for the preservation of the marginal bone, it also ensures the natural and optimized red-white esthetics of the implant reconstruction. The soft tissue can be optimally shaped or conditioned with the aid of CONELOG® Healing caps. Depending on the intended final abutment or type of soft tissue shaping with healing caps cylindrical or wide body narrow, impression posts with congruent shaped emergence profiles are available. These are offered for both the open and closed tray techniques. Due to the congruent shaped components, a collapse of the soft tissue cuff is prevented. The workflows are intuitive yet flexible - the best possible standardized preparation of the soft tissue for receiving an implant crown and for long-term stable success.
